Dominic Osei-Boakye was born on the 7th of July 1983. He hails from Feyiase in the Bosomtwe District, Ashanti Region. He started his primary and J.H.S education at Feyiase D/A school. He won the best Bible brain for the Ashanti Regional Bible Quiz organized by the Church of Pentecost at the age of thirteen (13).
He proceeded to KNUSEC at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology and studied General Arts. He was the Assistant Boys Prefect and a member of the Ashanti Regional Students Representative Council in 2002.
Dominic commenced his tertiary education at the All Nations University College-Koforidua (E/R) in 2003 and transferred to Wisconsin International University College-Accra. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Business Studies (First Class Honors) in May, 2007. He received the best graduating student award from the business school of Wisconsin International University College in 2007.
His academic excellence made the university poach him to become a teaching assistant and did so as a national service personnel - teaching courses such as management, business communication, human resource management, marketing, organizational behavior etc. In 2008, he was voted by students as the best supporting staff and worker. He enrolled on the university’s MBA programme which run in the evening and completed in 2010 with Mater of Business Administration (Marketing Option)
He combined lecturing with business and was among the university marketing committee who planned the marketing activities of the 10th anniversary celebration. He was also the assistant coordinator for the evening programme and a special assistant to the Head of Business Studies Department. He was in charge of complaints departments with respect to grading and administration of students’ results. He was also in-charge of lecturers’ evaluation with the designing of questionnaires, distribution and analysis using the Statistical Package for Social Sciences. He also managed Silver Palm hostel from 2005 to December 2006.
Dominic also holds Local Economic Development and Growth Certificate from the World Bank, skill certificate in Problem Solving Skills as well as certificate in organizational leadership, team playing and report writing.
Mr. Dominic Osei-Boakye is single and speaks English and Twi, single and a Christian. He hopes to build a strong career in marketing management and make positive impact on the lives of people and increase the productivity of his organizations. He joins Jorbies with these reach academic exposures.
